Xiomara Di Maio
A native of Caracas, Venezuela, Ms Di Maio came to the United States in 1980 to study music. She received her Bachelors and Masters degrees at Indiana University, where she studied Piano, Choral Conducting, Percussion and Voice.
Ms Di Maio has a private piano studio in the Lafayette area, and she also works at Stanley Middle School, where she assists Music Director Bob Athayde, and accompanies the Stanley Chorus.
She conducts the youth choir "Joyful Noise", at the Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian church, and sings with the world-renowned San Francisco Symphony Chorus.
