Crystal Hall Project
In 1999, the journey towards the creation of Crystal home began as an idea. With over 1,000 choristers and 30 teachers currently in the Crystal family, the necessity for a central office is growing clearer. Although Crystal will benefit from this building for many years, we hope that we can share the usage with Union Church and the community around us. Union Church has partnered with us ever since Crystal started 15 years ago by opening their doors and providing essential rehearsal space. By building Crystal Hall together, this alliance will be further strengthened and enhance our community.
Many steps have been taken to make the idea of Crystal Hall into a reality. We started fundraising in 2007 and reached our first goal of $250,000. Multiple versions of the blueprints were revised and now we have the approval from the city of Cupertino. All these small steps have brought us to the final stages of this project. As we begin our second phase of fundraising we need everybody’s assistance to reach our phase II goal of $250,000.
During these hard economic times, Crystal Hall may not seem very important. However, investing in Crystal Hall is more than just investing in a building. It’s an investment to build a home for Crystal Children’s Choir, the place we make harmony. It’s an investment to give back to our community for generations to come. It’s an investment in a Sound Future!
