Crystal Children's Choir Profile

Founded in March 1994, Crystal Choir drew its original members from a group of musically inclined children residing in the San Francisco Bay area and are recognized throughout the Bay area as an outstanding choral organization for boys and girls, ages six and up.
Crystal Choir was incorporated as a non-profit public benefit corporation in 1996, and has been recognized as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization by the U.S. Internal Revenue Services.

Mission/Goals
Our goals are to develop individual vocal skill, auditory perception, facility in sight-reading, and benefit from age-appropriate training of the maturing voice, develop an appreciation for a variety of choral literatures from classical to contemporary music around the world, develop responsibility, self-confidence, and a love for singing, understand the importance of their individual contribution to the success of the group and participate in an organization that is an exemplary model for a community-based arts organization.
